About Us
Redberry Advisory Group was founded in 2024 to help individuals approach taxes with greater clarity, discipline, and intent. We provide both tax preparation and year-round tax planning and execution, recognizing that compliance and strategy serve different purposes—and require different levels of engagement.
The firm is led by a U.S. Marine Corps veteran and operates as a Veteran-Owned Small Business. That background informs how we work: attention to detail, sound judgment, and accountability in every engagement.
Our founder brings over 30 years of experience working with taxes, combined with five years as a Certified Public Accountant, delivering services grounded in current technical standards and professional ethics. This blend of long-term practical experience and formal CPA training allows us to address both routine filings and more complex tax considerations with confidence.

Tax Preparation vs. Tax Planning
Tax preparation focuses on accurate, timely filing based on historical information. It ensures compliance—but it does not, by itself, optimize future outcomes.
Tax planning and execution is a separate advisory service. It is forward-looking, iterative, and designed to help clients make informed decisions throughout the year. This includes evaluating income changes, investments, equity compensation, life events, and timing decisions that can materially affect tax liability.
Many clients begin with tax preparation and, where appropriate, transition into tax planning once opportunities for improvement are identified. We are candid about when planning will add value, and equally transparent when it will not.
